The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Power of Jehovah started service at the present site - The Power of Jehovah Sanctuary - on Sunday 11th April, 2004 with twelve (12) members.
The grace and power of Jehovah, coupled with committed diligence in our outreach, saw the congregation rising to about 200-250 regular worshipers within the first year. Currently, we have about 1,000 regular worshipers in our weekly services.
We are a praying, bible-believing family church, with serious emphasis on prayer and holiness as outlined in the bible, the book of Hebrews 12:14. The core values of the RCCG ministry can be found at the the link below:
That we are a praying church cannot be over-emphasised as prayer meetings for various groups and departments are always going on at different times everyday of the week - Monday through Saturday.
One of our meetings that has proven to be a place to receive divine visitations from God is the monthly "Fire and Power Night" held every last Friday of the Month starting from 10:00 pm. God has always performed great and wonderful things in the lives of His people during this meeting.
Not too long ago we also started a powerful weekly programme tagged "Morning Dew Prayers". The scriptures declared in the book of Job 38:12-13
"Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place; That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?"
This meeting is for individuals who desire to take absolute control of their week by speaking prophetically into the dawn of the first working day of each week. This meeting holds from 6:00 am to 7:30 am every monday. Come and wrest dominion from the evil one, come and possess that which is yours. God's mercy and His victory awaits you.
As a caring family church, we encourage every believer to find a purposeful relationship with God. We have blessed and vibrant groups/ministries in the church.
It is most note worthy that; by the grace of God; the church has a thriving Children’ and Teens’ church.
Parking is no problem as the church has a private car park.
RCCG POJ is a blessed church wherein God tabernacles, evidenced by the constant and powerful manifestations of His divine presence at every meeting in the church.
You only need to worship in His presence at the Power of Jehovah Sanctuary to experience His visitation. We are an ever growing church and we will continue to grow and impact generations with the gospel and power of Jesus Christ, by His Grace, until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, in Jesus name, Amen.
