STEERING THE CHURCH BACK TO GOD’S ORIGINAL PATHWAY

Jesus Christ is coming for His bride or the church on its feet, that is, the church without spot or wrinkle with the saints standing.” That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish” Ephesians 5: 26 – 27
A church is woven round its Pastor. Smite the shepherd and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad. “ …for it is written, I shall smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad” Matt 26:31. Therefore, it is important that the shepherd or pastor must stand well on his feet to keep the church standing and together.
The age of modernisation and Hi–tech in the church today is not an excuse to deviate from the old and original ways of God – the old school into which God has enrolled every believer.” Thus saith the Lord, stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, we will not walk therein” Jere. 6: 16
The reason many churches have fallen today is because the pastors have fallen or compromised consciously or sub-consciously having allowed satanic infiltration of their church doctrines. Such pastors on honest self examination, will find that they preach the true word of God that they do not altogether practise or that they preach to please the people rather than God.
In other words they philosophically preach always to encourage the people and show them many ways to succeed, to be rich, to dominate and win in life, paying little or no attention to the dangers of sin nor holiness. They do not give the people balanced ‘diet’ or messages.
The aims of “Church on its feet” are:(i) to continually inject the church, with focus on pastors, special doses of the word of God, through divinely selected and assigned men of God at Church on It’s feet Conferences, (ii) to x-ray with the eyes and heart of God how the church has fallen short of God’s original will and divine assignment, “Now the spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. Speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their conscience seared with a hot iron” 1 Tim 4:1- 2 and, (iii) to give the required injections to jolt it back on its feet again. “That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word” Eph. 5: 26
To the pastors around whom the church revolves, the word of God in 1 Tim 4:16 says “take heed unto thyself and unto the (sound) doctrine, continue in them! For in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee”
The original pathway is truth, love, unity, consecration and prayer.
It is for the purpose of drawing the attention of the church to where and how it is going contrary to God’s original will and assignment for it that the Lord in a vision, in early April, 2002, gave me this heavy assignment to the church of Jesus Christ. The details of the vision with explanations and clarity from God over a period is what has culminated in the “Church On Its Feet” Conference.
