The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Power of Jehovah started service at the present site - The Power of Jehovah Sanctuary - on Sunday April 11, 2004 with twelve members. The grace and power of Jehovah coupled with workers diligence saw the church through the first year with the congregation rising officially to about 300, with about 220 – 250 regular worshipers. Currently, we have about 1,192 regular worshippers in our weekly services.

We are a praying, bible-believing family church with serious emphasis on prayer and holiness as outlined in Hebrew 12:14 of the Bible. That we are a praying church can not be over-emphasised as prayer meetings from various groups and departments are always going on at different times everyday of the week Monday through Saturday.

One of our meetings that have proven to be a place to receive divine visitations from God is the monthly friday night vigil, also known as Fire and Power Night. This meeting takes place on the Friday of every month and it starts from 10.30PM. God has always performed great and wonderful things in our lives during this meeting.

It is most worthy of note that; by the grace of God; the church has crèche areas and a private car park.

RCCG POJ is a blessed church wherein God tabernacles, evidenced by the constant and powerful manifestations of His divine presence at every meeting in the church. You only need to worship in His presence at the Power of Jehovah Sanctuary to experience His visitation. We are an ever growing church (currently with about 1500 regular worshippers) and we will continue to grow and impact generations with the gospel and power of Jesus Christ, by His Grace, until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, in Jesus name, Amen.
